Cafe in the dark, supported by Starbucks

Last Sunday, me and my friends joined the Run for Sight 2013, a 5km charity blindfold run @One Utama Central Park. This charity run was organized by Malaysia Glaucoma Society and Save Ones Sight Malaysia (non-profit), Malaysia Glaucoma Society (non-profit) in conjunction with World Glaucoma Week 2013.
The objectives of Run for Sight 2013:
  • to increase the awareness of Glaucoma among Malaysians
  • to raise funds for the many works both the organizations are involved in.

That's how I get the know about these organizations. There's another event coming up soon on this 15th March 2013.
CAFE in the Dark!
CAFE in the Dark is one of the programs created by My Dialogue Museum (Malaysia Dialogue in the dark exhibition). When you are in this cafe, visitors will be guided by visually impaired (VI) Guides into a black box to experience cafe in the dark. Visitors also have the chance to dialogue with our trained VI guides for 20 - 30 min.
That's not all!
You'll be experienced a cup of hot Starbucks coffee in complete darkness! It gonna be a whole new experience, out of the world, and the ONLY one in MALAYSIA!

Now you can book your ticket at www.saveonesight.org , clip on the "Vision Shop" and you will see the ticket. Just fill in the number of the ticket you want to get.

See you there!
