For this year, Sunway Pyramid embraces the Christmas spirit by helping underprivileged children of City Revival Children’s Homes (CRCH) and
StART Society through the S.O.S Pine of Hope.
Members of media and VIP were invited to the official launch of S.O.S. Pine of Hope @Pyramid Concourse together with the children from CRCH.
As
the delicate designs of fine arts greet shoppers to Sunway Pyramid this Christmas,
expect to be met with lots of sparkles and lights, blended into the designs of
mosaic art for the mall’s decoration. Celebrating the season with loads of
enthrallment and fascination, shoppers will be immersed in the artistic atmosphere
inspired by the genius mosaic mastermind - Antoni Gaudi, whose art originated
from Barcelona in the 18th century.
The 10metre-high Christmas Tree
at the Concourse decorated with sparkles and glitters added to the merriment,
as the 2 reindeers all covered with shimmery and bright colours. The sprawling
lizard sculpture decorated with the eloquent art acted as a reference to the
legend of mythical dragons, as Christmas is filled with magical and spiritual
elements that embody the festivity.

festive decor to the joyful Christmas tunes, spreading the spirit of happiness

There was also a performance by Liang, the winner of AIM 2008 for Best
Engineered Album and Best Album Design, a Radio
DJ and the ambassador for StART Society performed on stage, and
together with the children from City Revival Children’s Homes, they sang We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

“To provide help and assistance for the
underprivileged children, this year we have the wonderful Pine of Hope, located
at the Water Feature Area on Ground Floor, decorated with Christmas stockings,
headgears, teddy bears and other ornaments. Shoppers can buy anything they like
on the Pine of Hope, and all proceeds will go to the underprivileged children
of City Revival Children’s Homes and StART Society,” says Kevin Tan, Chief

for some underprivileged children around Subang Jaya.
On the Enthralling Christmas sleigh

shoppers will be rewarded with two tickets to watch Beauty & the Beast The
Musical in Sunway Lagoon, worth RM180 when they spend RM800 and above in 2

Shoppers can also get up close
and personal with the characters from Beauty & the Beast The Musical.
Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Chip and other characters from the great
Disney classic will be here in the mall, along with the appearances of Leo and

meet-and-greet sessions, Christmas Bazaar, Christmas Carols and performances by
